An odd place for a nap

At two years old, Lucy definitely wants to be the center of attention. And where's a better place to do that than in the center of the kitchen table? On this particular day, the kids were doing their homework and Lucy just got really tired, really fast. She waits all day for the kids to come home from school, so once they're home, she's not about to leave them. She's adorable!! And maybe next time, we'll have her put some pants on first, then go to sleep!

Spring Exercise

Now that spring is almost here, we're getting outside more. Adam and I were headed out for a run. We ran for a while and ended up playing in the mud, climbing dirt hills, having a rock throwing competition, and doing what boys do. Notice....no more braces!!!

We thought winter was over....we were wrong!!

This was Monday evening a week ago. We had just gotten our new camera in the mail and were excited to get outside in the fresh snow and take some pictures. Lucy loves to eat snow lately. We'll often find her on the back porch with a small shovel sneaking bites even though we keep telling her not to. At least there's no yellow snow by the porch...that we know of.

A gift for both of us!

This is a little something I picked up at Walmart yesterday. Let's just say that Courtney can now go to sleep and I can stay up to watch Seinfeld. The cool feature that I like is it's wireless. The downside is it runs on batteries. With 3 kids we tend to have a lot of batteries around the house anyway so no big deal. It only cost $20 and for all those wives out there that wish their husband would turn off the dang tv, you might want to consider one of these. There is one other downside....you may catch your husband in the kitchen, late at night, making a sandwich, in his underwear, with headphones on, listening to Seinfeld!!
