Christmas 2009

Christmas finally came... The kids had been bouncing off the walls for weeks before and I was about to lose my sanity. Now that all the presents are unwrapped things can calm down as they play with their new toys. Maggie was right in the middle of everything of course and although she didn't get any presents herself, she feels like she did since Adam got a new winter coat that she now gets to sleep on every time he leaves it on the floor.

In the picture below the kids are playing the Wii while Lucy looks on from the fort of pillows she made for herself. We thought for sure she would fall asleep in all the pillows, but she didn't. Too much Christmas excitement going on.

See the looks on their faces? The kids and their dad will look like this for days and weeks ahead!! The rest of us will be contributing to society and our home:-)

The kids with just a couple of their favorite gifts!!

Guitar Hero ROCKS!!

Ryan's still stuck in the 80's rock era. No wonder why he likes Guitar Hero.

Our princess painting! She loves to paint every day and you can just see the imagination wheels turning in her mind.

This would be Adam's new coat that Maggie is laying on in the middle of our Christmas morning party.

Here's our #1 princess again. Have we mentioned that she likes princess stuff?... And Dora... The other day I asked her what color fingernail polish she wanted and she said, "Rojo" for red. Who knew? I guess they do learn something from TV.

Opening the Wii

Princess Makeup... Oh, boy...

Lucy loved giving hugs after opening each present. She was so happy and thankful.

Daddy trying to wake up before the unwrapping starts. It was a short night sleep for him...

Merry Christmas Kids!!! We Love You!!!

Our kids got some new Wii games too. They play them non-stop till mom starts yelling for something to get done around here. We'll have to come and play guitar hero sometime. We don't get out of town much, sometimes it's just nice to be home, especially for John. But we need to make more of an effort. Hope you've had a great cmas holiday! We're looking forward to all the new excitement in 2010 - especially your new baby boy!
