Adam turns 11

Birds of a feather flock together...

Adam took these crazy boys to Trafalga Lehi and played Laser Tag till their hearts content, or till their tummies rumbled... Ryan took a break from work and showed up with pizza to solve that problem. Then we went home for cake and presents. The Wii game, Epic Mickey, was his favorite.

Londyn finishes the 50/20 for the 2nd time

Metal for the finishers

Here's Londyn on the last 5 mile home stretch-- the point at which you want to die. I can't believe she finished for the 2nd year in a row. She's got to have a crazy gene in her that I don't have to understand. She amazes me!!! She walked 50 miles, from Friday evening-- all night long-- then finished 19 hours later Saturday morning. Just one foot in front of the other, with a few tears in between. Bless her heart. She has amazing endurance.

Her faithful supporter -- Daddy...

He drove all night long behind her, then walked the last 7 miles with her. The other people in the picture are support walkers who help out in the end.

I have to make note that Adam also walked this year for the first time and made it 18 miles.... no doubt a great accomplishment!!!

Dance Recital

Both girls were in dance this year (Jan-May). They had fun, but it was a long commitment.

Londyn and her best friend, Shaelyn

Lucy not wanting to participate in the starting "egg" formation of her dance.

Their manly supporters. (I don't think I have a picture of Adam's new braces yet)

I'm bummed that the recordings of their dances didn't turn out on our camera, or I would of added them too.

Makey and Poppa's after retirement tour -- May 2011

A couple of inside pictures since it rained a lot while they were here...

Lucy always had a game to play with Poppa.. he's such a good sport and so patient.

Adam loves legos

Mother's Day 2011

My Mother's Day wish came true without too many tears. Pictures with my children once a year... shouldn't be too much to ask. I had a great day of course. Being a wife and mother are my greatest joys in life!!

Playing catch-up with some missed pictures...

Saying good-bye to Gramma and Grampa. Londyn is 13, the same age that her Gramma was when she stopped growing. Luckily for Londyn she is just starting her growth spurt, so this is the last time they will be the same height. (April 2011)

Ryan helping our neighbor prune his apple tree. We are trying to keep him off his rickety ladder as much as possible, but you can only do so much. A few days after this picture, he was up on it again pruning another tree and fell. An ambulance came and after a stay in the hospital he's been chair ridden and on crutches from a broken ankle. Too bad some men have to learn their limits the hard way.

Isaac cheering on Adam at his Hershey Track Meet

Adam running his heart out on the 400 meter race.
