Thanksgiving Point

Yeah!!! I finally made it to the Gardens, even though it was the least colorful time of the season. It was a HOT day so tried to find shade wherever possible.

The kids made the best of it...

...and cooling of at the end with ice cream was perfect.

Utah County Fair

One last outing before school starts...

Check out those storm clouds behind us... Luckily they decided to down-pour after we were done with all the rides. We saw the wall of water coming and ran for cover.

Cowabunga Bay

Everytime the kids see this waterpark from the highway they want to go, but it's in Draper and I don't like to drive that far. So, Ryan took the day off and helped me. It was fun for the first time, but 7-peaks is way better. They got it out of their system though, so no more begging.

Tubby Time

Isaac has grown out of his baby tub, so until he can sit up on his own Lucy helps me out so I can wash him up.

Isaac, our little sponge...

The kids have been trying to introduce Isaac to his toes for weeks, and he finally discovered them on his own, as well as his ears. So cute!!! Adam is always asking what the next milestone is, and sure enough he's right on track. It's fun to watch him adore his older siblings and soak up all that they do and say.

See, he's learning to play the matching game (Lucy's favorite).

Ryan's Birthday -- 37 years!!!

Since Ryan's birthday was on a Sunday and we couldn't go out to eat, this was my attempt at re-creating the Crab Pot. (I know, don't laugh). Good thing he's not picky. And Adam's our only adventurous child, so he had fun trying the squid and so forth... This was our first attempt, so we'll know what to do differently next time... Go to the Crab Pot!!

Poor guy... I had a 2 day migraine so the cake didn't happen. We made the best with what we had, and these brownie bites worked just fine.
We hope all your wishes come true!!!

Londyn's gift for her dad. She knows him all too well, but we all take him in good humor.

Happy Birthday to my one-of-a-kind, loving, thoughtful, handsome, family-man, strong, witty, loyal, kind, (I know I'm leaving out a lot of adjectives, but it's late and my brain is shutting down, so feel free to add to them) and awesome husband and father!!! You are the love of my life and I'm looking forward to the next 37 years(+) by your side.
