No More Computer

To 'all' of our faithful readers our computer died the other night. It's dead as that cat I ran over the other day:-) The smell of burning electrical components gave it away. So much for that, we definitely got our $100 out of that thing. All is well in the Penhallegon household. Courtney had her first ultrasound on Monday and they found the heartbeat and Courtney is feeling pretty good lately now that the first trimester is over.
We'll be in touch soon!!

A New Member of our Family???

Meet Roxy... She's a 5 yr. old Toy Poodle. She came as quite a surprise when our friends asked us to take her as they couldn't when they moved. I guess we are just suckers for animals and couldn't say "no". So far, so good. It's only been 3 days, but the kids love her of course and tote her everywhere they go, since she weighs next to nothing. Otherwise, she's just a lap dog and pretty chill. The 2 dogs are tolerating each other just fine. We just have to make sure we give Maggie as much attention as Roxy.

Happy 36th Birthday Ryan!!!

After many Saturdays away from home, Ryan decided to have a nice quiet birthday at home doing house projects and taking a nap. Although, he did take a motorcycle ride while I prepared his birthday dinner and raspberry custard pie. Happy Birthday to the Love of my Life. Thanks for making our lives more enjoyable each day. We love you!!!

Announcement...

For all those who don't know yet... I'm 10 weeks along... due March 5, 2010

Penhallegon Family Reunion

Here's a couple highlights from our few days together.
Here's Poppa breaking out the classic volkswagon that will never die. The kids wanted to take a ride in the dirty old bed. Simple thrills!!!

And the rest of the time was spent in the pool. Thank goodness for that relief from the 105* + temps.

All on a Sunday Afternoon...

Our 9 year old Adam has a mind that is always moving...creating...thinking...inventing..., and his mouth is usually moving just as fast. When he gets an innovative idea there's no stopping his action to create it. Hmmm. I wonder what his future will hold. He's already trying to figure out how to make his inventions come to life.

This is just an example of his many creations. A robot named Adam Jr. with the remote control that makes it do what Adam tells it.

He also has made "My Invention Book" that records all his ideas. He usually writes them down before going to sleep because he says he's not tired, probably because his mind is still going 90 mph. These are just a couple of my favorites.
