My 3 cute pumpkins

Coming back on the hayride with their treasures

The perfect ending to a perfect pumpkin pickin' day.

Fall Sports

Londyn-- our little athlete. She loves to be goally the best.

But, she holds her own with all those boys as a forward too.

Adam wanted to try flag football this year, and is having a little too much fun instead of focus.

Can you see the ball coming straight towards him? Yeah, too bad the other boy intercepted.

IT'S A .........

Today we went in for the 20 week ultrasound. Courtney and I met at the hospital and went to the appointment together. The kids were not able to go because the hospitals are not allowing children under 14 due to the swine flu going around. But they were able to make a DVD for us to bring home and show to the kids. They were very excited to say the least. Literally, bouncing off the walls excited. Adam was 99.9% sure it was going to be a boy and Courtney and I figured that it was gOing to be a girl. Londyn didn't vote, but Lucy was hoping for a girl.
The technician saw what it was and teased us a bit by saying, "I just saw what it was and I'm almost positive, but we'll come back to that in a minute." So she checked out all the body parts and made sure that everYthing looks good, which it all does and then she showed us the gender for sure. We're thrilled with the news and we're looking forward to a March 5th due date.

Courtney's trip to Georgia

A couple pictures of my family. This is my dad with nephews, Boston and Kendall.

Me and my sister, Carey with our Gramma vander Horst

And the main reason I went was to see my Grampa Warner who is fighting Pancreatic Cancer. Isn't he adorable. I love him so much. It was hard to say good-bye. I always love going to their home where you feel comfortable and love and peace.

Lucy's 3rd Birthday

Lucy's favorite color is PINK, if you can't already tell. All she wanted for her birthday was a pink cake with pink candles. Mom delivered, but she didn't seem to mind opening additional presents as well.
This pink "dancing dress" as she calls it was passed down from her cousin, and if it is clean she is wearing it. She loves to put on her music and dance, dance, dance. She's got quite the moves. I think we need to put her in dance lessons so her moves can be a little more organized.

Stealing licks from the frosting... her favorite part

Someone gave Lucy her 1st set of fingernail polish, so naturally she wanted to do it all by herself. She's a big girl now as she self proclaims, and lives up to the title pretty well-- fully potty trained, goes to pre-school without mommy (well, 1/2 the time), and we're still not ready for nursery by ourself (thus, mommy is the nursery leader), but most other tasks around the house "I can do it myself" she says. She's excited to be a Big Sister, and prays that "the baby will come out of mommy's tummy soon." She thinks it will be a girl. Me too.... hmmmmmm... We'll find out on the 16th.

Pig Wrestling Anyone???

This is Londyn getting sprayed off by the fire hoses after her pig wrestling event. Bet you don't have this in your town (well, I know one family that might... You know who you are...) Us small town folk get into this sort of thing. And leave it to our Tom-boy daughter to participate. She did great, but not enough team-work to get that big pig in the barrel-- not to mention the slippery conditions. She had fun and can't wait till next year!!!
