A good fishing weekend!

Brady(a co-worker and friend from the big city of Mona) and I went fishing this weekend down at Piute Reservoir. We had pretty good luck and the water was still cold enough to make for some pretty good tasting trout. We only kept 10(there were 3 of us), but we easily got 30 into the boat. Mostly in the 14-16 inch range. We were looking for the big fat ones, but didn't get any of those this time. The big one got away last year so we were hoping to catch him this time, but it didn't happen. We'll be eating lots of fish for the next few days and even gave some to the neighbors.

Londyn's Hair Salon Visit

Londyn went to a birthday party on Friday after school and all the girls got to go to a hair salon and get their hair done and their nails too! Doesn't that sound fun(for her)? This was kind of a first for Londyn, but she is starting to spend more and more time in the bathroom doing her hair on her own and looking good for all those boys. It's a good thing we have 3 bathrooms, but even though we have 3 bathrooms, mine is still the most popular. Why is that exactly? It must have something to do with cohesive family-ness!! It would be ok with me if the kids would use their own bathroom. I'm pretty good at clearing the room if need be. Back to Londyn, she had a great time! I'm sure she'll be back to the hair salon many times, hopefully at her own expense.

Swinging at Salem Pond

Lucy 18 months

This is Lucy's first day of Nursery at church. That is big deal for her mom and dad to see her spread her wings and learn to socialize a little bit. We can't leave her by herself yet after 3 weeks, but we keep trying. Lucy's favorite part about nursery is snack time and when it's time to go home for another snack and a nap.
